DANCE MEDIA WORKSHOP
A Commercialized Media Production Service & Dance Workshop
The purpose of Dance Media Workshop is to boost your dancers' & program's media portfolio presentation with an advantage in quality content, and to provide an experience that will help prepare a dancer's knowledge, ability, and awareness of industrious principles and skills that are involved with working in artistically commercialized professional environments; All of this is done through participating in our photo/video media shoots and dance workshop. After the workshop, you'll receive high quality headshots, danceshots, fashionshot, and dance footage of each participating dancer!

Now more than ever, it is important for artists, programs, and companies to have good quality media content to represent themselves to commercial markets, potential clientele & employers, and the general public. You and your dancers can receive fashionable, high-quality media content to enhance the presentation value of their portfolio, and your program's promotional/marketing advertisements.

HEAD SHOTS
Standard 8x10 head shots that are required by most professional artistic industries.
DANCE SHOTS
An impressive action shot that markets a dancer on websites/media for professional artistic industries.
FASHION SHOTS
A captivating personality shot to show commercialized versatility in a dancer's presentation.
SOLO INTRODUCTION
Showcases a dancer's ability, skill, personality, and name. This is currently fashionable media to have in the introduction of a dancer's reel.
ENSEMBLE SHOWCASE
Showcases dancers' performing ability with a short ensemble choreography phrase in a clean and lit environment.
CREATIVE FILM
A themed dance film that showcases dancers' performing ability in a professional creative work.
THE WORKSHOP
For a film shoot of the Ensemble Showcase and/or Creative Film.

The dancers will be involved in a challenging, goal-oriented process that will help them become aware of certain logistics that are involved in the work process of commercial arts industries. While in this process, they may learn skills that will help them better perform their role as dance artists for future career opportunities. They will have a significantly limited time to learn, refine, and perform choreography for film, which usually incentivizes them to perform efficiently.

REHEARSAL
In rehearsal, dancers will have a limited time to learn choreography from guest artist choreographers.
​
AUDITION
Dancers will go through a real audition process that will determine their role and or placements for performing the choreography.
PERFORM
Under direction of the directors/choreographers, the dancers then perform what they have learned for camera/film.
GUEST ARTISTS
Carlos & Marisa are the executive producers, co-directors, and choreographers of Dancelook's media production services. Carlos, Marisa, and their team have innovated their talents to be proficient in dance/media production services and will be the leading guest artists for Dance Media Workshop services.
