TELEVISION (REALITY SHOW)
Carlos was a top 20 finalist on FOX's "So You Think You Can Dance" season 10. There he worked with choreographic artists such as: Mia Michaels, Sonya Tayeh, Nappy Tabs, Stacey Tookey, Travis Wall, Chris Scott, Jason Gilkison, and Tyce Diorio. On this season, Carlos performed in the Emmy Award nominated performance known as the "Sand Dance", choreographed by Chris Scott.
TOURING COMPANY (CONCERT)
Carlos has danced with Rasta Thomas' Bad Boys of Dance. With them he performed alongside the ballet superstar Rasta, and has toured over 10 countries including: Germany, France, Spain, Austria, Greece, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Russia and the U.S; all in a span of 3 years while performing their hit show, "Rock The Ballet."
BROADWAY
In NYC, Carlos performed full-time in iLuminate's off broadway show: "ILuminate: Artists of Light", as the principal character. iLuminate made their big debut as 2nd runner up winner on NBC's "Americas Got Talent."
BROADWAY
In NYC, Carlos performed with the broadway cast of "Spider-Man Turn Off The Dark" for the special event Gypsy of the Year put on by Broadway Cares. This was Spider-Man's last running year!
THEME PARKS
As a performer at Walt Disney World, Carlos has had the privilege to perform in Disney's "Jungle Book: Alive With Magic" & "Rivers Of Light" production.
THEME PARKS
As a performer at Universal Studios, Carlos has had the privilege to perform in Harry Potter World in the "TriWizard Tournament" as a Durmstrang stunt performer.
DANCE CREW
With Systematic Dance Crew, Carlos has performed in and choreographed numerous of performing accomplishments such as winning B.E.T.'s 106th and Park's dance competition on national television, twice!
CONCERT
At the age of 15, Carlos considers his first professional experience as a performer being with Jacksonville Symphony's First Coast Nutcracker as the lead Russian. Carlos has performed this role 15 times annually!
DANCE TEAMS (NBA)
Carlos has choreographed for the NBA's, the Orlando Magic dance team. These performances entertained the crowd during half time shows!
DANCE TEAMS (AFL)
Carlos has choreographed for the AFL's, Jacksonville Sharks dance team, The Attack. These performances entertained the crowd during half-time shows!
TELEVISION (TV COMMERCIAL)
This commercial for Head Tennis Rackets features one of the world's best tennis players, Novak Djovkovic. It also, features Carlos and some his Systematic Dance Crew members along with some of Carlos' choreography.
THEATRE (DINNER SHOW)
Carlos has choreographed a 1.5 hour dinner show on International Drive in Orlando, FL. This show features pop imitators for an exciting dinner concert!
FILM (DANCE)
Carlos has produced, directed, and choreographed several award-winning dance films noticed around the nation!
STUDIOS-SCHOOLS-COLLEGES
Carlos spends a lot of his time as a traveling guest artist and enjoys working with dance studio, school, and college programs. He has made his presence in over 100 different dance programs around the world inspiring and teaching young dancers!
DANCE STUDIOS (NYC)
While in NYC, Carlos became a dance instructor teaching dancers from all around the world at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway. There he taught various classes and styles including contemporary, street-jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, jazz, and modern.
COMPETITIONS-CONVENTIONS
Carlos has judged and taught at numerous dance competition and conventions around the U.S. He enjoys spreading knowledge that may help dance students achieve a better understanding and skill of their dance ability.
TRAINING & EDUCATION (COLLEGE)
At Jacksonville University, Carlos received a Talent & Academic scholarship. There he has double majored in Dance and Computer Science. During this time he had the opportunity to work with artists, companies, venues, and choreographers such as: Parsons Dance Company, Jennifer Muller, Christian von Howard, ABT, and White Oak Dance Project.
DANCE PROGRAMS (PRE-PROFESSIONAL)
With Dancelook, Carlos has created a pre-professional arts program to provide opportunity to young dancers to elevate their training and performance experience. This program is open to students all around the nation.
TRAINING & EDUCATION (HIGH SCHOOL)
Douglas Anderson School of the Arts matured Carlos' training in his technical ability as well as choreographic ability. He has worked with numerous artists, choreographers, and companies provided through the dance department.
TRAINING & EDUCATION (MIDDLE SCHOOL)
Carlos began his dance training at LaVilla School of the Arts where he trained in ballet, modern, jazz, hip-hop, and masculine techniques during his middle shcool years.
MARTIAL ARTS (TAEKWONDO)
Carlos began training his passion for movement as a martial artist. Within the American Taekwondo Association, Carlos has achieved a rank of 2nd degree black belt.
TALENT ACHIEVEMENTS (STUDENT)
During his highschool years, Carlos has received the Honourable Merit Award in hip-hop style dance at the National Young Arts Foundation.
